Barahona.- Los directores de Planificación y Tramitación de Planos del Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC), Tommy Villar y Ana María Terrero visitaron al gobernador Pedro Peña Rubio, donde plantearon el interés del Gobierno de sortear importantes obras, aquí.
Durante la conversación dejaron entrever que el Gobierno tiene el propósito de construir una edificación que aloje el mercado público y un matadero municipal.
La presencia de los técnicos ante el despacho del gobernador se enmarca dentro de las orientaciones del ministro de Obras Públicas, Gonzalo Castillo, quien ha mostrado intenciones de que se sorten varias obras.
Entre las cuales, se mencionaron un nuevo mercado, ciudad Esperanza y ciudad Larimar.
Asimismo, edificio para oficinas públicas, entre otras, rehabilitación y construcciones de canchas deportivas, asfaltado de calles, reparaciones de play y de viviendas.
En el encuentro también participaron el director regional de Obras Públicas, Carlos García López y el ingeniero Ernesto Pérez, entre otros.
